J. M “Chuck” Evans is an experienced entrepreneur with a 30+ year history of working in the financial services industry. Chuck serves as Executive Director of Lenders Cooperative, located in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania. He has been an “SBA Lender Service Provider” for the last sixteen years. Prior to that, he served as the Director for an Eastern Pennsylvania based SBA Certified Development Company, where Chuck grew the SBA 504 program and started a 7(a)-lender services support program for community banks in the greater Philadelphia area.

Chuck started his career as a commercial lender with Wachovia Bank in Winston-Salem, North Carolina and subsequently moved to Pennsylvania and managed a small business lending group at Meridian Bank.

Chuck is an active industry stakeholder, supporter of the National Association of Government Guaranteed Lenders (“NAGGL”), the National Association of Development Companies (“NADCO”), frequent speaker and trainer at the SBA regional conferences and hosts a monthly SBA focused webinar.

Chuck enjoys sailing and he and his wife, Karen reside in Port Deposit, MD
